The OSCE Presence in Albania expressed Tuesday concern over reported incidents faced by journalists before, during and after the recent elections, including the cases of intimidation and obstruction. 

"We reaffirm the vital importance of media freedom as a cornerstone of democracy and stand ready to support all efforts to uphold OSCE commitments on protecting journalists and ensuring a safe, open media environment," reacted the OSCE in a short statement for the media.

Many journalists were verbally attacked during the Parliamentary Elections in Albania.
